Meet Dana

I am a published, award-winning poet and trusted book editor, and I pride myself on leading with passion.

I’m grateful that my creative writing has been supported by fellowships from Emerson College and Lambda Literary. My poems are published or forthcoming in The Georgia Review, The Massachusetts Review, Poetry Daily, North American Review, The Common and others. As a first-generation Syrian-American woman, I write about and through identity, ancestry, family, and love.

I received my MFA in poetry on a full fellowship and have almost a decade of experience editing across industries, with a specialty in the literary world where I’ve held professional editor and editorial assistant roles at renowned presses and literary journals. Today, I’m honored to help authors bring their visions for their books to life through a range of editing services.

It’s such a joy to watch authors light up as their ideas shine brighter and brighter through our work together.

As a multi-passionate person based in Boston,

I also work in arts development, direct a contemporary dance company, and create lifestyle content on social media. I work a lot because I’m passionate about many things, but when I’m not working, you can find me reading (of course), cooking, traveling, or daydreaming somewhere drinking coffee.
